“The house was so awesome. I would even say undersold in the pictures. The living room and kitchen seem so much bigger in person than the pictures. Also everything was clean, the room A/c worked well, there were so many beach toys and kayaks and SUPs, chairs, coolers, shades. So many things. We got asked daily where we rented the kayaks from. They are perfect along with the SUPs to go up the river and walk to the waterfall. Totally worth it. They also had a fold up crib in the closet. We could have probably left a whole suitcase full of stuff we brought that they already had there. I would 100% recommend the house.”

“The home is great and in a lovely location. If you are in Kaua'i to surf or be at the beach, this is perfect. The home was equipped with all the outdoor toys you would need. Sun chairs, snorkels, paddle boards, kayaks etc. Our family took the paddle boards down the river daily, it's lovely. The kitchen has all your supplies for cooking, there wasn't anything missing. They were very flexible and gracious with check in and out time, given our flight changes we were so thankful for this! Amazing trip and experience altogether! Thank you for the hospitality.”

“Ideal Beach House Location. We LOVED the location of this property and the fact that they have paddleboards and kayaks to use to cross the lagoon/river. The gorgeous Kalihiwai Beach is 2 minutes away. The property is spacious and light and has a great layout where we all had our personal space but a great room/kitchen and dining area to gather. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans in every room were awesome. We also enjoyed the lanai with the lovely view. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely return!”

“We loved this home! Rooms were large with comfortable beds and high end bedding. Kitchen was well equipped AND EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN! We loved the access to the beach. Great having the paddleboards. So close to Princeville for shopping at Foodland and my favorite coffee (Trilogy) in Kilauea but private and quiet. “Great home on the north shore. The home is very spacious and generally well maintained. It comes with plenty of water toys to use in the river/beach. One thing we were concerned about was around crossing the river to get to the beach. The river water is a little chilly in April but not too bad. We were able to walk across the river with it only getting about 3-4 ft deep at the crossing to the beach. We would stay there again!”

Nice large place, well appointed, with great places to hang out or find alone time, plus a fast walk to the fairly secluded beach and access to the back bay/river (having cayaks and paddleboards a real plus!). Kalihiwai Valley is off the main road so it's quiet and feels like you are "living like a local", and then also very close to Princeville and Hanalei for greats shops and restaurants - best of both. “Quiet, secluded ocean front piece of paradise, yes it does exist, i know i stayed there. WOW. That's all I can say. the home was steps from the sand. It was located in hidden quiet cove, tucked away from the fast paced world around. It has a huge lush green lawn. The homes exterior is perfectly kept. Inside was a gorgeous well equipped home that could easily sleep six. The master bedroom was amazing and serene, with beautiful white linens and very very comfortable bed. When i decided to head to the beach I brought a stand up Paddle board and a beach chair that was in the homes garage, it was perfect. I highly recommend this home for families.”
