“Our family enjoyed a much needed reprieve from COVID at this wonderful home in Hanalei. The house is very comfortable. We spent a lot of time out on the lanai enjoying the ocean breeze. The master suite spacious, with enough room to sleep a 3yo in the sitting area without feeling cramped. The location was fantastic - we counted 350 steps to beautiful Hanalei Bay where we surfed and played in the waves with the locals. It was only a five minute walk to the shops and restaurants in town and only fifteen minutes from Tunnels beach. The home offers great amenities - boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and beach shelter. The concierge service was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Check-in was super easy. Would absolutely recommend.”

“We stayed here with our two young children (4 and 7). We found the location was perfect. It is close to Hanalei Pine Trees beach. It is a five minute walk or one minute drive to the beach. The house has beach chairs, umbrella, beach tent, coolers, and sand toys. There is AC in the lower half of the house which is so refreshing after a long day at the beach! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals for ourselves. This house is the perfect balance of luxury/family friendly. If you compare other houses in this location you will find the price can't be beat!”

This home has everything you'll need for a turnkey vacation. Amazing finished. Amazing beds. Amazing kitchen. My wife and our 3 kids were in awe of the home and the location for the full trip. “Best location possible a block from Hanalei Bay. Property has two bedrooms downstairs that are air conditioned and there is an outdoor shower. Upstairs has a very well appointed kitchen with any utensil or dish you need. There's a huge lanai that overlooks the mountains. Plenty of beach equipment and it's a short walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to downtown Hanalei. They have a gas bbq and a one car garage.”

“This is a lovely property just a block from the beach. It is all hardwood floors and quality furnishings. The house was very comfortable. THe beach access was great.... we were there several times a day. Hanalei Beach is spectacular. You wake up to the ocean sounds and beautiful bird calls. The only issue was that the neighbors can be quite noisy in the afternoons when the kids get home from school. Otherwise, the house itself and the location are great. We really appreciated having such nice accommodations for 10 nights.”

“This townhouse is lovely. The views are extraordinary, the layout is very functional, and the location is just great. We loved that the outside shower connected directly to the master bathroom. Brilliant! The master bed was super comfortable. And the daybed was great on rainy days (which was all days for us!). When we told the management that the boogie boards were warped, they brought us three new ones. We loved that they arranged someone to come clean during our stay. We will definitely, definitely stay here again.”

“I dream of going back! My family of four, 2 kids 14 and 11, loved our stay at Hale Ylang Ylang. A beautiful airy home in a perfect location. We walked to the beach every morning for surfing and walked into town for stores and restaurants. The house was perfectly clean, and felt very cool with large ceiling fans and multiple open windows. The kitchen was well supplied. We loved the outdoor and covered dining space with great views. We were a little creative with beds given only two bedrooms with large beds; the master bedroom has a room dividing wall and a second bed where our 11 year old slept. Parking, garage usage, places to store rental gear, outside hose and Private outdoor shower. I would definitely try to return here when I can get back to our new favorite place in Hawaii.”

“This is our 3rd time staying in Hanalei and this is our most favorite vacation rental! Here are my favorite details: - The second-floor ocean view was amazing even on rainy days. Loved reading books on the daybed to my daughter while watching the ocean. - A garage! Stay dry when unloading the car and kids on a rainy day. If you're a parent, you'll understand. - Location is perfect! 5 mins one way and you have shaved ice and markets. 5 mins in the other way and you're at one of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Organized and quality kitchen. I love to cook, so the sharp knives, quality pans, and well stock spices are important to me. - Air conditioning in the bedrooms. “Great place steps from beach!! This place is a gem!! Great house with nice finishes, well furnished and a closet full of beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, buckets & bogey boards!!). You can easily walk to the beach (3 min) and downtown Hanalei (8 min). Upstairs day bed provides a great place to hang out and watch the ocean/sunset.”

We stayed for a week in February and were very happy with the property. short walk to the beach for amazing surfing and body surfing; and furniture/fixtures in very good shape. house included: everything needed to prepare great meals; beach towels and chairs; comfortable beds ; glimpses of the bay; even soap and shampoo. despite being on road parallel to beach, street noise is minimal and almost non existent after sunset. would definitely return!”

“Beautiful home... Everything you need just bring your clothes and groceries. Wonderful location, park your rental in garage and walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Beds comfy and air conditioners in bedrooms a plus. Ceiling fans too. Lanai perfect spot for coffee or cocktails watching and stoning to the rain and peak of ocean. Furniture was nice, a large area rug under couches and tables in living room would be nice and keep the beautiful floors safe. We hated to leave. Overall a very special place and would definitely stay again.”

“Steps to the Beach and Close to Town, Luxury Townhome with Views. Aloha! Everything about this property was absolutely perfect. Joanne, the Property Manager from KIV made everything so easy and fun too. We found ourselves spending most of our time on the outdoor lanai. From sipping Kauai coffee and listening to the sounds of the birds in the morning, to enjoying a chilled glass of chardonnay while enjoying the trade winds and ocean waves in the evening - this the best place in the house! The bedrooms with A/C topped it all off (slept amazing)!. Not only did this house gave us a true old world Hawaii feeling in the heart of Hanalei, we simply felt like locals for a week! Mahalo!”

The home is gorgeous with a spectacular view of the mountain. The accommodations were more than comfortable for our family of five. It is a short walk to the beach and the house is located close to many of the sights and the town of Hanalei Bay. We had a few issues pop up and Joanne had them taken care of that day. She also booked an amazing helicopter tour for us. She was awesome! All in all our trip to Hanalei was a trip to remember. We highly recommend staying here.”
