“My family of seven, including two teenagers and three younger kids had an absolutely perfect first trip to Hawaii and this home was definitely key to the experience. To start, the service provided was impeccable. In advance of our arrival we received a ton of info to prepare, including art festival and farmers market locations across the island. We also received a concierge menu that included spa locations, personal chef services and grocery shopping. The home itself is in a great location, within steps of the Hanalei shopping and a few more to the beach and famous Hanalei pier. My family took advantage of surf lessons right off the pier! The home is beautiful and stocked with all needed items. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect vacation!!”

“We had the most amazing time for our family holiday in Hanalei! The home is absolutely beautiful, and perfect down to every last detail! Joanne and Mari were perfect hosts, highly communicative and thoughtful. The home has 5 large bedrooms and 41/2 baths, is equipped with every kitchen 'wish item', fun beach items (2 boogie boards, 2 stand up paddle boards, 6 chairs, 2 umbrellas, 2 beach cruisers, tons of beautiful beach towels). The home is literally a 2 minute walk to town and a 3 minute walk to the beach. We can't wait to return!”

Everyone was most comfortable and remarked often about how beautifully decorated and designed the house is. We all agreed that you have thought of everything to make our stay so relaxing and memorable. By the way... We were completely blown away when we called about the propane tank and returned to discover a brand new grill. It worked perfectly for our evening grilled fish/veggie/pineapple meals. “This house suited our needs of hosting a 3 generation family perfectly. Backyard was perfect for exploring for some of the younger kids, the layout of the rest of the house worked great for the adults. Super close to all that Hanalei has to offer, but since it is in Kauai, it quieted down pretty quickly. The walk to the beach is very easy and with the current state of parking due to the April 18 flooding, made things very convenient for us. All in all it was a great place and perfect for our trip.”

“Pefect family vacation! Our family stayed here for a week to celebrate our parents 88th and 95th year birthdays. From start to finish, it was a perfect home to relax and enjoy the ocean views. The house was as gorgeous as the pictures! The kitchen had all 6 of us preparing meals and we never bumped into each other! Joanne, Holly, and Don were the perfect hosts - making sure we were comfortable and setting up activities that my parents could enjoy. We loved hearing the ocean 24/7, seeing the surf, and feeling the breezes. My parents said it was the best vacation of their life, due to the Banana Beach House!”

“We booked this house as a place for our friends to stay during a wedding. It's centrally located in Hanalei, making access to the beach and town area a nice walk. The house is spectacular, super clean, great lighting, very comfortable bed and bath, fully stocked kitchen. We had other people over and had room for everyone. Enjoyed making dinner and having room around the table for everyone. The space separation is also great for large groups because with nine people we never felt on top of each other. Each room had space fans, opening windows and access to lanais. Some folks even took advantage of the toys, taking boogie boards and umbrellas to the nearby beach.”
